Nepris, a platform that connects educators with industry professionals to bring real world relevance to classrooms, has closed a bridge round of funding totaling $1 million. The round was led by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation (MSDF) and includes Investors’ Circle’s Patient Capital Collaborative (PCC) Fund, IC member Silicon Valley Social Venture (SV2) Fund, and other angel investors.
“I first met Investors’ Circle at their Beyond the Pitch event in Boston. I’m excited to add their PCC Fund to my investor base with the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation and others who will help us achieve our goal of reaching more underserved students in lower socio-economic communities,”
“One of the top reasons students drop out of high school is that the classroom experience is considered boring and not relevant to their lives. Nepris is attempting to address this issue by engaging students with industry professionals that provide real world relevance. We were impressed by the strong management team and scalable platform that has already benefited ten of thousands of students and could help millions of students discover exciting career opportunities over the next couple years,”
says Justin Desrosiers, IC’s Director of Investment and PCC Principal.
