The Conference featured great

thrilling discussions on the purpose of capital and emerging markets.
With over 300 people attending, including over 150 accredited
investors, the Fall Conference helped to make this one of Investors'
Circle's best years yet!

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 14: WORKSHOP & MEMBERS ONLY EVENING
On the first day of the event, Investors' Circle hosted a workshop titled "Valuation & Portfolio Strategies" in cooperation with the Kauffman Foundation. The workshop was intended for those interested in learning more about establishing a pre-money valuation for seed/startup companies, the importance of the company scalability to angel investors and the critical parameters for a successful angel portfolio strategy.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 15: VENTURE FAIR (Accredited Investors Only)
Presentations were made by 20 early-stage for-profit companies and small funds working to solve social and environmental problems in the following areas: energy and environment, food and organics, media, health and wellness, education and community and international development.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 16: EDUCATION DAY
The final day featured speakers and workshops on the state of double-bottom-line investing and enterprise creation in energy and environment, food and organics, education and media, health and wellness, mission-related investing, and community and international development. The plenary on the Education Day was titled Emerging Markets: Investing to Serve the Poor. This panel addressed a number of questions about how patient capital can help support and develop those enterprises best suited to creating economic opportunity, healthy communities, and sustainable business practices in emerging markets.
