Karyn Barsa
Karyn serves as President for Investors' Circle.  Formerly CEO of Smith & Hawken and COO/CFO of Patagonia, Karyn has led two vibrant organizations that serve as models for values-centered leadership around the world.  With a career that includes investment banking, commercial banking, and turnaround corporate finance, Karyn has specialized in opportunities to meld business and social missions and has been a featured speaker for numerous organizations including the American Management Association, Business for Social Responsibility, and various sponsored conferences. In addition to serving on the board of Investors' Circle, Karyn is a member of the Board of Directors at Deckers Outdoor Corporation (Nasdaq: DECK) and a member of the Board of Directors of NESsT.  Karyn also serves on the Advisory Board of inResonance, Inc. and as a Trustee at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology.  Karyn holds a B.A. in Economics from Connecticut College and a MBA from the University of Southern California.

Michael Bartner
Michael is Associate Director of Investors' Circle.  Prior to joining Investors' Circle in 2002, he worked with the Carter Center's Global Development Initiative and SunstainAbility in London.  Michael has a B.A. in Environmental Science and Political Science from Emory University and the London School of Economics.  He is currently working towards an M.B.A. at Northeastern University.

Kelsi Boyle
Kelsi graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara with degrees in Sociology, Women’s Studies, and Anthropology. While in school, she worked with various non-profits on issues ranging from youth probation counseling to public transportation lobbying. Kelsi also lived in Sweden where she studied the effects of immigration and capitalism on a modern-day socialist nation. Kelsi acts as Communication and Events Associate for Investors' Circle.

Molly Deringer
Molly received a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Brown University where she studied the sustainability of private forestry in New Hampshire. During high school she attended the Mountain School, a semester program based on an organic farm and focused on ecology and local-living. Before coming to Investors’ Circle, Molly worked in the Strategic Policy office at the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management. Molly serves as Entrepreneur Services Associate.

Matt Lombardi
Matt is a graduate of Bates College where he studied Political Science and French. While in school, Matt lived in Madagascar, Austria, and France for extended periods of time. In his free time, Matt enjoys running, hiking, and throwing pottery. Matt previously worked as a research assistant at Tracey Edwards Advertising Firm in New Hampshire. Matt acts as Entrepreneur Services Director & Patient Capital Collaborative Liaison.

Jill Harubin Luo
Jill graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a double degree in Communications and Sociology. She has traveled extensively, including participation in Semester at Sea. Jill previously worked with CSRwire for two years. Jill is the Membership and Sponsorship Associate at Investors’ Circle.

Woody Woody Tasch - Chairman
Woody Tasch currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Investors' Circle. He is also Chairman of Chelsea Green Publishing, a leading publisher of books on organics, renewable energy and the politics of sustainability. In the 1990s, he was Treasurer of the Jessie Smith Noyes Foundation, a foundation that has pioneered grantmaking to support sustainable agriculture, as well as strategies for integrating philanthropic mission and asset management. He also managed the foundation's venture capital portfolio. Woody has worked as an entrepreneur, venture capitalist, Board member and consultant with such organizations as Prince Ventures (a healthcare venture fund), Healthdata International, CERES (the Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Economies), National Mentor, Greenway, the Nantucket Education Trust, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, Northwest Area Foundation, CIMMYT (the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center) and Farmers Diner. He was founding Chair of the Community Development Venture Capital Alliance and the Nantucket Sustainable Development Corporation as well as the Chairman of the Advisory Board of Commons Capital. He is the author of articles and essays on redefining fiduciary responsibility. He is co-author of "Food Production and Public Policy in Developing Countries", published by Praeger Special Studies in 1983. He is currently working on a book about Slow Money: a new vision of capital that is rooted in nature and which supports businesses that enhance biodiversity and promote local food systems.
